On a sun-drenched summer day, she found a large Zielinski & Rozen box with a bow among her gifts. Opening it was like uncovering a treasure of fragrances, creams, gels, scrubs, and lotions, each meticulously arranged. Before heading to work, she tried one
of the perfumes. With two spritzes, a quick look at her smiling reflection, and her scarf playfully arranged, her usual route to work was brightened by an unexpected encounter. That morning, begun with a gift, unfolded into a gift of fate as she met him. Though he lived in another city and had to return, he dreamed of coming back to her. The next day, he rang her to say he’d purchased perfume in her favourite scent to keep her essence always nearby. In sharing this, he was voicing his love.
