A journey through Europe inspires a new aroma of Pink Pepper, Elemi, Cinnamon, Leather

A trip across Europe has inspired Erez to create a new fragrance with Pink Pepper, Elemi, Cinnamon, Leather. Each city is like a book with its own plot and characters. Streets and squares, architecture, the rhythm of the city, people running errands or chatting in restaurants and cafes — all these details create the character of a city.

“I returned from Europe to Tel Aviv more than 10 years ago. However, the opening of our showrooms in Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam, Barcelona and other cities brought back different memories. Including the memory about my favorite perfume ingredient — elemi, which I haven’t used for a long time,” says Erez Rozen.

The note of elemi is dynamic and inexplicably attractive. It changes depending on the use with other ingredients, revealing itself in different ways in each formulation. Erez complemented it with pink pepper — for an element of positivity and brightness, like the people he met in Paris. Cinnamon was used to reference Madrid and Ibiza, where Erez visited many cozy restaurants filled with music and creative vibrancy. In order to give the final formula a dynamic, expressive feel, representing the same attitude found in Amsterdam and Barcelona, he added a note of leather. While each ingredient represents a different city, they cohesively blend together for a seamless yet ever-changing experience that is personal to each wearer.

And since a journey is never quite complete until a destination is reached, the experience for this fragrance will be on-going — further explored with new iterations. Erez further elaborates, “Pink Pepper, Elemi, Cinnamon, Leather is a “to be continued” work. This is a book that has several volumes with various endings and final perceptions”.
